Cosy vibes, from its rustic wooden benches to the Instagram-worthy outdoor seating. Don’t leave without tasting the banana muffins. Good for a smart afternoon tea too. For brunch or lunch, head to Wimbledon’s high street and head to <a href="https://www.firestables.co.uk/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Fire Stables</a> – your four-legged friend is welcome too. </p>



<p>Brunch is the main event here, with everything from a belly-filling Full English to melt-in-your-mouth French Toast. Come evening, treat yourself at <a href="https://www.dogandfoxwimbledon.co.uk/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">The Dog &amp; Fox</a>, a classic English pub serving hearty British fare with a twist (it’s also great for a cheeky Sunday roast). <a href="https://centanni.co.uk/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Cent Anni</a> is a lovely indie Italian restaurant for the best mouth-watering pasta. </p>



<p>On the other side of the Common is <a href="https://www.thehandinhandwimbledon.co.uk/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Hand in Hand</a> – great spot for more Sunday Lunches. <p>The Buddhapadipa Temple is a stunning Thai Buddhist temple, just off Wimbledon Park Road. Visit and you feel like you&#8217;ve been transported to another world. It’s the first Buddhist temple in the UK, and its golden stupas, serene lake, and beautiful murals make it a total surprise in the middle of leafy Wimbledon. Legend has it that the temple&#8217;s serene grounds have been used as a filming location for music videos and even a spy thriller! Visitors are welcome to wander the gardens or take a quiet moment of mindfulness inside.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-commute">COMMUTE </h2>



<p>Wimbledon might have a village vibe, but it’s ridiculously well-connected. You can hop on the District Line and be in central London in 30 mins, or catch the overground from Wimbledon Station and be at Waterloo in just 20 mins. Oh, and if you’re a regular on the M25, the A3 is a stone’s throw away, making road trips a breeze.</p>
