There&#8217;s something stylish in the air this season, with fashion pop-ups springing up all over town. Opening today (6-10 May) is a Balearic-themed <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/DX6ejl3M-6u/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">pop-up </a>between designer Patrick Cox&#8217;s psychedelic Doors of Perception and luxe resort wear label Kalita Swaidi at 204 Kensington Park Road, Notting Hill. Must-buy piece? The <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/DX6ejl3M-6u/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">DOP x Kalita</a> embroidered, maxi dress.

Running until 24 May, you can pick up everything you could need holiday-wise, from baseball caps and sunscreen to raffia bags and Delarge sunglasses. 



For fabulous floral kids wear, check out the <a href="https://www.selfridges.com/GB/en/cat/lapin-house/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Lapin House x Mary Katrantzou</a> pop-up at Selfridges (runs until 31 Aug) and don&#8217;t miss the pop-up <a href="https://uk.louisvuitton.com/eng-gb/magazine/articles/louis-vuitton-london-hotel#neverfull" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Louis Vuitton-themed hotel</a> (runs until 21 June) in Mayfair which celebrates the iconic brand&#8217;s classic monogram bags. You can&#8217;t stay there (boo), but you can experience a 1930s-style lobby, Café Alma, Bar Noé, Speedy Room and Neverfull Gym, &#8211; simply reserve a (free) place and go immerse yourself in a world of LV..

It&#8217;s clear the shift from wild to wellbeing has gone mainstream in London when notorious private members&#8217; nightclub Tramps opens <a href="https://www.instagram.com/tramphealth/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Tramp Health</a>. This new members&#8217; club is attached to the recently opened Chancery Rosewood Hotel and designed for &#8216;conscious living&#8217; &#8211; ie put the wine down and do some squats. There&#8217;s a &#8216;performance and optimisation&#8217; gym, breathwork sessions, saunas and IV drips &#8211; forget dancing until the small hours, this is all about longevity rather than booze-fuelled late nights. 



Nor is it the first members club to have a lifestyle pivot, with <a href="https://www.thesloaneclub.com" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Sloane Club</a> in Chelsea switching things up with infrared saunas and a high tech gym, <a href="https://www.sohohouse.com" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Soho House</a> making wellness a key part of its expansion plans (everything from ice baths to Reformer Pilates studios and, outside London, new members&#8217; club <a href="https://www.longlane.co.uk" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Long Lane</a> in the Cotswolds is firmly rooted in wellbeing rather than drinking. 



<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-hot-new-restaurant-openings">HOT NEW RESTAURANT OPENINGS</h2>

The only two places you need to be booking this month are <a href="https://www.instagram.com/ornella.restaurant/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Ornella</a> in Hackney and <a href="https://kinzrestaurant.com/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Kinz</a> in Notting Hill. Ornella&#8217;s Milanese-themed and the latest restaurant from&nbsp;The&nbsp;White Lotus&nbsp;star Theo James, who also has Lupa, a popular Italian restaurant he launched last year in Highbury with Ed Templeton and Naz Hassan. There were lengthy queues to dine there and we predict the same for Ornella – the trio are clearly on a (bread) roll.&nbsp; 



Based in a former Notting Hill bank built in the 50s (the vault&#8217;s been converted into a wine room with dining!), just-opened Lebanese restaurant Kinz is fabulous. With two floors plus a deli and opening hours that run from morning to night, you can start the day with a Lebanese breakfast and end it chomping on baked aubergine with pine nuts, tomato, yoghurt and pita.
