Two headliners to catch this month: <a href="https://www.tate.org.uk/whats-on/tate-modern/tracey-emin" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Tracey Emin: A Second Life</a> (27 Feb – 31 Aug; tickets £20) at Tate Modern &#8211; which includes everything from 30-year-old sketches to THAT bed  &#8211; and <a href="https://www.vam.ac.uk/exhibitions/schiaparelli" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Schiaparelli: Fashion Becomes Art</a> (28 March – 8 Nov) at the V&amp;A. The latter&#8217;s the UK’s first exhibit dedicated to Italian fashion designer Elsa Schiaparelli are bound to be an instant hit, with more than 200 beautiful objects to browse, from jewellery to paintings, photographs, clothes and sketches.

Hottest tickets in town this March? <a href="https://muddystilettos.tixculture.com/london/shows/18792-romeo-&amp;-juliet" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Romeo &amp; Juliet</a> at the Harold Pinter Theatre (16 Mar-6 June)&nbsp;starring Stranger Things&#8216; Sadie Sink (aka Max) as Juliet (it&#8217;s her UK stage debut), and Noah Jupe (The Night Manager, A Quiet Place, Hamnet) and Romeo. Enough said.&nbsp; 



We’ll also be queueing round the block to see Rebecca Lucy Taylor (aka singer Self Esteem) make her West End debut as Maggie, the washed up front woman of a 60s counterculture band in <a href="https://muddystilettos.tixculture.com/london/shows/45248-teeth-n-smiles" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Teeth ‘n’ Smiles</a> (13 March &#8211; 6 June)at the Duke of York’s Theatre.&nbsp; 



Alexandra&nbsp;Burke (The X Factor, Sister Act, The Bodyguard, Curfew) is playing legendary Chaka Khan in the world premiere of new musical&nbsp;<a href="https://muddystilettos.tixculture.com/london/shows/35372-im-every-woman-the-chaka-khan-musical" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">I’m Every Woman</a>&nbsp;launching at The Peacock Theatre (5-28 March). We can’t think of anyone better suited to play the multi-platinum selling icon and her rise to stardom – Alexandra’s sold more than 5 millions records and had three number one hits in the UK herself. 



And you can catch even more &#8216;slebs on stage when <a href="https://muddystilettos.tixculture.com/london/shows/45580-les-liaisons-dangereuses" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Les Liaisons Dangereuses</a> opens at the Lyttleton Theatre (21 March – 6 June), because Lesley Manville&nbsp;(Phantom Thread) AND&nbsp;Aidan Turner&nbsp;(Rivals) will be treading the boards in this striking adaptation of Choderlos de Laclos’ classic novel. Love, lies, social warfare and Aidan Turner in an unbuttoned white shirt – what more could you want in March?

Baby, where the hell is my husband? We&#8217;ve no idea, but <a href="https://www.theo2.co.uk/events/detail/raye-2026" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Raye</a> will be asking the same question when she plays the O2 (1-2 March). For something more laid back, catch Norwegian star <a href="https://www.roundhouse.org.uk/whats-on/sigrid/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Sigrid</a> at the Roundhouse (13 March &#8211; tickets sold out but you can join the waiting list if you&#8217;re keen) and for more high energy book tickets to see US pop star <a href="https://www.academymusicgroup.com/o2academybrixton/events/kesha-tickets-ae88971" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Kesha&#8217;s Tits Out Tour</a> at Brixton Academy (16 March; from £22). 



Pull on your Adidas Gazelles and baggy jeans because the <a href="https://www.roundhouse.org.uk/whats-on/happy-mondays/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Happy Monday&#8217;s </a>and <a href="https://www.roundhouse.org.uk/whats-on/happy-mondays/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">The Farm</a> swagger into town on 27 March to play the Roundhouse, while another bittersweet blast from the past, <a href="https://www.theo2.co.uk/events/detail/richard-ashcroft-2026" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Richard Ashcroft</a>, plays the 02 Arena on the 28 March to promote his new Lovin&#8217; You album.



Swifties, assemble! There&#8217;s a one-off <a href="Tribute to Taylor Swift" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Candlelight: Tribute to Taylor Swift</a> concert (28 March; £32) in the Great Hall at St Bartholomew&#8217;s where an orchestra will be playing loads of hits including Ophelia, Shake it Off and Anti-Hero. And for something totally different, military musicians are leaning in to the West End at the <a href="https://www.royalalberthall.com/tickets/events/2026/mountbatten-festival-of-music-2026" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Mountbatten Festival of Music</a> (21-22 March), where they&#8217;ll be blasting out overtures, solos and tunes from movie classics at the Royal Albert Hall in celebration of the big bands of the Royal Marines. 



Finally, enjoy a month of live music courtesy of <a href="https://barnesmusicfestival.com" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Barnes Music Festival</a>, which runs from 7-22 March and includes choral, instrumental, orchestral, opera, jazz and film events in venues across the borough.

Parents, book a babysitter and find solace in the hilarious highs and lows of parenting courtesy of Hannah East&#8217;s new show <a href="https://www.hannaheast.com/comedy/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Express Yourself</a> at Leicester Square Theatre (12-14 March).
