<p>Madonna wowed fans world-wide when she joined Sabrina Carpenter on stage during her headline Coachella set at the weekend. The pop icon performed duets with the <em>Espresso</em> singer, including <em>Vogue</em> and <em>Like A Prayer</em> plus a new track from her latest album <em>Confessions II</em>, due to launch shortly. </p>



<p>It was unforgettable show and, although stationery fans in the audience filming with their phones got some stick from Madonna fans on social media, it&#8217;s fair to say viewers went wild in their living rooms and made it a viral moment. </p>



<p>If you weren&#8217;t one of the lucky 100,000 to witness the fitness of two cultural icons, don&#8217;t fret, London has plenty of pop royalty who you can see performing this year. </p>

<p>&#8216;It&#8217;s like RAAAAIINNNN on your wedding day&#8217;. We can&#8217;t remember our bank login details, and yet we can remember every lyric of <em>Ironic</em> released by Alanis back in 1996, probably because it&#8217;s SUCH a great tune from hit album<em> Jagged Little Pill</em>. Just like Madonna, this pop star&#8217;s got staying power &#8211; she even performed an iconic version of <em>Ironic</em> at Glastonbury last year which went down a storm. Now she&#8217;s confirmed to play Crystal Palace in July with Skunk Anansie in support, another brilliant 90s throwback. </p>

<p>Ever since the pop star, songwriter and fashion icon launched <em>Smile</em> back in 2006, she&#8217;s been shocking the establishment, just like mighty Madge. And now a whole new gen has fallen in love with her after the release of her break up album <em>West End Girl </em>last year, which provides a deep dive into the breakdown of her marriage with <em>Stranger Things</em> actor David Harbour. If you want to fan girl her live, there are still tickets on sale for her 28 June O2 gig, but be quick as the other tour dates have sold out. </p>

<p>Everyone&#8217;s favourite pop princess right now is already a living legend. <em>Man I Need</em> has been a smash hit both sides of the Atlantic (and above and below it), she&#8217;s multi award-winning and her album, <em>The Art of Loving, </em>is guaranteed to stand the test of time just like Madonna&#8217;s <em>Like A Prayer</em>. If you can get your hands on tickets (it&#8217;s sold out BUT keep checking the website as &#8216;additional tickets may become available for purchase at a later time&#8217;), definitely go and see her perform live this April/May/June because her star is only going to keep on rising. </p>

<p>Similar to Madonna in her heyday, Ariana&#8217;s an actress as well as being the biggest pop star on the planet. Following her Hollywood stint as Glinda in&nbsp;<em>Wicked</em>, Ariana is&nbsp;<em>finally</em>&nbsp;returning to the stage after seven long years for a 10-night residency at the O2 happening this August, though, errm, spoiler-alert: they sold out within minutes. All hope is not lost however. If you want to be among the hordes belting out ‘thank u, next’ this summer, keep your eyes peeled for resell tickets or last minute drops in the days leading up to the gigs.
