A stylish Central London hotel stay for less than £200pn sounds too good to be true, right? Well Muddy’s discovered Ruby Group which has not one, not two, but THREE cool hotels to choose from which won’t break the bank.

Since bursting onto the capital’s hotel scene in 2020 with affordable-yet-stylish Ruby Lucy in Waterloo, Ruby Group hotels has since launched Ruby Zoe in Notting Hill and Ruby Stella in Farringdon at the end of 2024.

Like its hotels in Düsseldorf, Amsterdam, Germany, Vienna and the Netherlands, the London getaways take inspiration from their surroundings meaning each one’s packed with character and has a real sense of place, from playful market and fairground-inspired Ruby Lucy to Ruby Zoe’s music inpso and Ruby Stella’s literature-led decor.

Minimalist rooms range in size from small (purse-friendly) Nest, through to Cosy, Lovely and Wow, which, as the name suggests, are much larger and swankier. Not that these hotels are designed simply as a place to rest your head – live music, games nights, work spaces and buzzy bars mean Ruby Group hotels are as much about fun and community as affordable zzz’s.
