Two of London&#8217;s top spots took gold at the recent <a href="https://restaurantandbardesignawards.com" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Restaurant &amp; Bar Design Awards 2024</a>. The prestigious awards honour only the most innovative, beautiful establishments world-wide and this year London had a record-breaking 24 places shortlisted, including much hyped The Spy Bar at Raffles London at The Owo. Not all could shine, however, and only two clinched a coveted award. Meet the winners.

This place is breaking new ground, not only its sensational Japan-meet-Mexico cuisine (yes, really), but also its sensational, curvaceous design. I mean, look at it. Stunning, right?

There are only six seats, so this is an ultra intimate experience from the get-go, but the menu goes big with 15 creative courses crafted by Executive Chef, Leonard Tanyag. Oh and there&#8217;s also a dedicated sommelier offering wine, sake, and agave pairings. The price of dining in this exquisite, award-winning omakase joint? £180.

A London institution that NEVER goes out of fashion, and is still winning awards. If you&#8217;ve never treated yourself to dinner here, you should. Not only for the divine Art Deco decor and immaculate service, but also for the unbeatable British comfort food served breakfast, lunch and dinner.

We&#8217;re talking buckwheat crumpets finished with black truffle, fruits de mer platters designed to share and show-stopping main courses like Cornish sea bass, grilled native lobster and dry-aged prime beef rib for two. And Claridge&#8217;s Bar is worth a mention too, head here for post-dinner martinis and people-watching.
