<p>Exit Bond Street Tube Station and immediately look up, because Oxford Street&#8217;s  Sky Full of Stars illuminations (turned on by Vanessa Williams this year) are pretty dazzling. </p>



<p>Make your way down <strong>Davies Street</strong>, which has some great festive shop displays &#8211; and don&#8217;t forget to look along <strong>Mount Street </strong>which always gives good lights. </p>



<p><strong>ADD ON:</strong> Davies Street has some top stores to browse such as Alfred Dunhill (luxury menswear and accessories), Vivienne Westwood (gorgeous designer womenswear and accessories) and Hedonism Wines (quality quaffs) if you&#8217;re still looking for gift ideas. </p>

<p>After a few minutes you&#8217;ll reach <strong>Brook Street</strong>, home to legendary <a href="https://www.claridges.co.uk/christmas/christmas-tree/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Claridge&#8217;s </a>hotel. Always a Christmas delight, the hotel goes the extra mile with its displays and this year&#8217;s no exception with multiple Xmas trees, festive foliage and lights. </p>



<p><strong>ADD ON:</strong> If you want to take things to the next level, pop inside the Art Deco icon to check out the Christmas tree designed by Burberry&#8217;s creative director Daniel Lee &#8211; it&#8217;s being unveiled at a party on <strong>25 Nov</strong>, but here&#8217;s a taste of the fun to come with a pic of last year&#8217;s Paul Smith-designed tree. Treat yourself to a glass of Champagne or afternoon tea in The Foyer while you&#8217;re there. </p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-be-amazed-at-annabel-s">BE AMAZED AT ANNABEL&#8217;S</h2>

<p>Carry on walking along <strong>Davies Street</strong> for five minutes and you&#8217;ll hit <strong>Berkeley Square </strong>and private members&#8217; club <a href="https://annabels.co.uk" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Annabel&#8217;s</a>, another must-see at Christmas time. Each year the facade is decked out in whimsical style that&#8217;s well worth an Instagram post &#8211; this year it&#8217;s a Narnia-esque giant lion, planet and stars. Wow. </p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-stroll-along-old-bond-street">STROLL ALONG OLD BOND STREET </h2>

<p>Cross <strong>Berkeley Square</strong> and head along<strong> Bruton Street</strong> until you reach one of London&#8217;s best shopping spots: <strong>New Bond Street</strong> which is home to Dior, Chanel, Tiffany&#8217;s and Cartier. Don&#8217;t forget to look up as the illuminations are also très chic. This leads on to <strong>Old Bond Street</strong>, where the Peacock Illuminations are once again on display. </p>



<p><strong>ADD ON:</strong> Check out the five-metre tall Giving Tree outside Ralph Lauren (the store&#8217;s also great for gift accessories for men, women and kids). </p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-walk-through-burlington-arcade">WALK THROUGH BURLINGTON ARCADE</h2>

<p><strong>Burlington Gardens</strong> is a road between <strong>New and Old Bond Street</strong>, where you can enter London&#8217;s prettiest shopping arcade. Always magical at Christmas, from the velvet bows to the twinkling fairy lights, this year you can see the twelve days of Xmas above you, including five gold rings and ten lords a leaping. It&#8217;s also a treasure trove of indie shops, like Cara Jewellers. Don&#8217;t forget to visit Ladurée for the best macaroons outside France. </p>



<p><strong>ADD ON: </strong>Burlington Arcade&#8217;s now home to <a href="https://www.stephenwebster.com/pages/no-regrets-lounge-cocktail-bar" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Stephen Webster&#8217;s</a> sexy new No Regrets Lounge, a red-hued boudoir perfect for a Christmas cocktail.  </p>

Cross the road to see <a href="https://www.theritzlondon.com" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">The Ritz</a> and snap the gorgeous Xmas tree displays, and don&#8217;t miss the <a href="https://www.royalacademy.org.uk" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Royal Academy</a>, beautifully lit inside and out. </p>

<p>From <strong>Piccadilly </strong>cut through <strong>Air Street</strong> to Regent Street, past Gaucho&#8217;s twinkling exterior and neon signs,<strong> </strong>and end your trail by walking up the famous rue. Even the Ginchiest Londoner can&#8217;t help but be impressed by the glittering angels, with wings spread wide across the road. </p>
