<p>Ever the opportunity to sing your heart out &#8211; seriously, Nelly Furtado, Jessie Ware and Rita Ora are on the same line-up &#8211; Mighty Hoopla is pop haven at the massive Brockwell Park. <p>Now in its 29<sup>th</sup>&nbsp;edition, this artsy music festival has collaborated with musical giants such as David Bowie and Morrissey, and continues its hot streak with legendary Chaka Khan taking the&nbsp;<em>Meltdown&nbsp;</em>mantle. There’s a tune for everyone, with this year’s line-up featuring everything from Morcheeba and Todrick Hall to Rahsaan Paterson and, of course, the Queen of funk herself performing on 14 June. Ain&#8217;t nobody does it better. </p>

<p>Picnic baskets at the ready – the annual week-long hurrah at Kew Gardens is back with its A-list concerts, street food stalls (if your sarnies aren’t doing the trick), and open-air bars. Pitch up your&nbsp;folding chairs and rock out to the unbeatable headliners, including&nbsp;Ronan Keating, Mika, JLS, Beverly Knight, Richard Ashcroft and, err, Monty Don. &nbsp;</p>

<p>As if we needed an excuse to mooch around Henry VII’s not-so-humble abode, Hampton Court Palace festival is back with two weeks&nbsp;of groovy&nbsp;music in the palace gardens.&nbsp;With headliners like Tom Jones,&nbsp;Nile Rogers and&nbsp;Sheryl Crow,&nbsp;it’s no surprise tickets are already selling out &#8211; go, go, go!</p>

<p>Admittedly for a (ahem) <em>slightly</em> younger audience, Finsbury Park’s annual knees-up, Wireless, has a little for everyone on this summer’s bill. Headlining this year is Nicki Minaj (Friday), 21 Savage (Sat) and Dojo Cat (Sun), with more artists yet to be announced. If nothing else, it’s your chance to embarrass your teen.&nbsp;<a href="https://www.greenwichsummersounds.com/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Greenwich Summer Sounds</a>, Old Royal Naval College, 4-8 July.</p>

<p>This one-day extravaganza is back in the stunning Alexandra Palace grounds with even more music, pop-up theatre, circus and magic workshops, and comedy. Thanks to the huge setting, there’s plenty to cram into the one-day fest; families have a dedicated area with lots of interactive activities, while adventure junkies can head down to the Victorian basements for mysterious entertainment (colour us intrigued). Or, you can just sunbathe and enjoy the sounds of Ministry of Sound Classical, Soul II Soul,&nbsp;The Go! Team&nbsp;and&nbsp;Huey Morgan&nbsp;of Fun Lovin’ Criminals – G&amp;T in hand, naturally. </p>

<p>Rich with history and legendary musical performances (including Bob Marley’s biggest UK gig in 1980, no big deal) the Crystal Palace Bowl is almost reason enough to pull up your wellies and hit the road &#8211; but the line-up is the proverbial cherry on the cake.&nbsp;Grace Jones, Jess Glenn, Damian Marley, De La Soul to name a few.</p>

<p>Arguably the coolest festival to catch&nbsp;the best pop and indie&nbsp;stars live, <em>All Points East</em> is back for its sixth year in Eastenders’ local haunt, Victoria Park, with a line-up including Kaytranada, Victoria Monet, LCD Soundsystem and Death Cab for Cutie. With more acts yet to be announced, it&#8217;s best to get your foot in the door now before tickets sell out faster than hot pies and mash. </p>

<p>This picnic festival is kicking off with Proms in the Park by the&nbsp;Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra followed by a weekend including A Night at the Musicals and Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Orchestra. You can bring your own picnic or choose from the selection of street food and drinks at the leafy venue.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p>Back for its 16<sup>th</sup>&nbsp;year, this city-wide festival offers a range of cuisines from Japanese and traditional British to Indian and Middle Eastern. This year’s 50+ events promise the usual chef-led sittings, restaurant hopping tours and cocktail masterclasses &#8211; so you can finally perfect your margarita technique. Venues to be announced and tickets go on sale 11 May. If you miss out on this one, you can catch it again come October.</p>

<p>Crowned the largest festival of Caribbean food and drink in Europe, Taste of the Caribbean is exactly what it says on the tin. Excellent Caribbean food from over 20 UK restaurants and street vendors with staple dishes like&nbsp;ackee &amp; saltfish, oxtail, plantain, and arguably the best jerk chicken you’ll ever taste. Among the dining and music are the fairground rides, face painting, bouncy castles, and arts and crafts all for free (yes, really.) There are six locations across London, no excuse to miss out.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Say cheers to 20 years! Celebrity two decades of feasting in Regent’s Park, Taste of London is back for five days of sampling food from the hottest restaurants across the capital. This summer’s offering is even bigger, with everything from Oblix at The Shard to Norma, plus cool up-and-coming chefs you’ve never heard of. Sunbathe and scoff to your heart’s content.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Tom Kerridge’s foodie and music extravaganza&nbsp;Pub in the Park hits London as well as Marlow, Reigate and St Albans this summer. On the menu are cookery demos, workshops and food stalls with guest chefs Big Has, Gennaro Contaldo and Tom and Robert Aikens, among others. Heading up the music stage? De La Souls, Scouting for Girls, Busted and Jools Holland.&nbsp;Muddy top tip: pop over to the bookshop for a meet and greet with the chefs and get a new signed recipe book.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Brewing (sorry) in East London’s Tobacco Dock, this all-inclusive beer festival is back with a line-up of top-notch breweries and over 800+ beers for you to try &#8211; a generous trade for the £64.50 tickets. To fuel you up in-between pints, London restaurants, including&nbsp;10 Greek Street, Dellugo and Bone Daddies, will be dishing up a storm. Music and entertainment is yet to announced, so keep an eye out.&nbsp;</p>
