We were chuffed to bits to see Lussmanns back in London. We’ve been admirers of Andrei Lussmann’s for some time now – Home Counties readers will already be familiar with his five restaurants in Hertfordshire, which have made him something of a big name and propelled him to be named one of the 100 most influential people in food in the UK.
It’s mostly English food with Italian flourishes, and they’re big on sustainability too (it’s called ‘Lussmanns Sustainable Kitchen’ in full). At Lussmanns it’s all about simple, ethical, top quality ingredients combined in a way that puts the eating experience above any of the flashy stuff.
