<p>The opening of&nbsp;<a href="https://www.gordonramsayrestaurants.com/lucky-cat-bishopsgate/?srsltid=AfmBOooV26DGuRL3OIfNL9FKaMM6zUredV0ILg7RKKirscmNDYoQGk1B">Lucky Cat by Gordon Ramsay</a>&nbsp;on Level 60 of <strong>22 Bishopsgate </strong>this month signifies more than just another tasty omakase menu in town &#8211; it&#8217;s officially <strong>London&#8217;s highest restaurant</strong>.</p>



<p>The elevated dining experience takes place at a whopping 269 metres above ground and includes 360˚ city views through floor-to-ceiling windows. The Asian-inspired food&#8217;s pretty impressive too, plus there&#8217;s a Lucky Cat Roof Terrace for cocktails overlooking London. </p>

<p>A floor below lies <strong>Bread Street Kitchen by Gordon Ramsay</strong> and, if you want to roll your sleeves up and get involved, there’s even a high-rise&nbsp;<a href="https://www.gordonramsayacademy.com/en/uk/locations/bishopsgate/cooking-classes" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Gordon Ramsay Academy</a>&nbsp;offering classes in everything from pasta making to mixology. Bishopsgate is basically Gordon Ramsay world at the top of a skyscraper and if you&#8217;re a fan of high dining, here are five more uplifting restaurants to try. </p>

<p>Until <strong>Lucky Cat </strong>opened, this stunning restaurant on the 40th floor of 110 Bishopsgate (<strong>Heron&#8217;s Tower</strong>), was London&#8217;s highest eatery. Offering breathtaking views over the city from sunrise to sunset (and every hour in between) it&#8217;s long been a Muddy favourite due to its glam cocktail bar, perfect truffle and parmesan fries, brilliant brunches and a three-course Sunday roast so good you&#8217;d climb the tower to reach it (don&#8217;t worry though, there&#8217;s a super fast lift). All served with a side of perfect panorama. </p>

<p>At 310 metres tall, The Shard is London&#8217;s tallest building and five-star Shangri-La Hotel&#8217;s <strong>Ting restaurant</strong> on Level 35 is one of the city&#8217;s highest. You&#8217;ll be entranced by the views alongside the epic food (Muddy had a wagyu steak that wad out of this world). <p>It&#8217;s all about dining with a view at this restaurant on the 37th Floor of <strong><a href="https://skygarden.london" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Sky Garden</a></strong>, the city&#8217;s highest public garden. Chef Kerth Gumbs is currently shaking things up by marrying British ingredients with the vibrant flavours of the Caribbean, reflecting his Anguillan heritage &#8211; think whiskey barbecue wings and cured jerk salmon ceviche. Muddy loves that you can snack on small plates of food at the long bar if you&#8217;re after a more casual dining experience, and don&#8217;t get us started on the botanical oasis that is the Sky Garden. </p>

<p>Just a couple of floors down from the <strong>Duck &amp; Waffle</strong> in soaring Heron Tower, Sushisamba gives great view and the food is sublime too. Located on the 38th and 39th floors of 110 Bishopsgate, the menu has nods toJapan, Brazil and Peru and it&#8217;s all mouth-watering. And if you want even more wow factor, SS is also home to one of the<strong> highest outdoor dining terraces in Europe</strong>, which has a circular bar with a tree at its centre and unparalleled 360-degree views of the city. </p>

<p>Searcys <strong>Helix restaurant </strong>at <strong>The Gherkin </strong>is the business, whether you want sky-high Afternoon Tea or contemporary dining with majestic views across the city at night.
