<p>Afternoon tea is always a special occasion at The&nbsp;Dorchester, but winter holiday season is exceptional. This year award-winning executive pastry chef Michael Kwan showcases treats including a chocolate Christmas tree, coconut snowflake truffle and marshmallow snowman. Pair them with a glass of Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label Brut Champagne, and visit at the weekend if you want to be serenaded by a choir singing carols while you dine. <p>Lots of festive eats to get excited about here. The hotel&#8217;s champagne bar The Stage, is serving a quintessentially festive afternoon tea in association with Maison Ruinart, which is being served daily from 12.30-4pm. Savour seasonal sandwiches, fresh scones, handcrafted patisseries and even a chocolate sleigh, washed down with a glass of three of fizz. Over at Whitcomb&#8217;s restaurant you can book a festive set menu (available until <strong>22 Dec</strong>) including two courses (£42) or three (£48), which comes with a glass of Gusbourne Blanc de Blancs English wine or a spiced French Martini.</p>

And for the little ones? Executive Pastry Chef, Martin Haidar has created a delicious menu including savoury delights such as&nbsp;wild mushroom tartlets with onion jam and Cajun turkey breast with apple and cranberry chutney. These are followed by an array of desserts, including a&nbsp;Christmas&nbsp;fruit cake&nbsp;known to be King Charles&#8217; festive favourite, and a&nbsp;Snow-White&nbsp;pudding featuring tea, white chocolate mousse, apple flavours, and a&nbsp;spiced ginger flower&nbsp;combining brioche with cranberry, mixed spices, and light mascarpone cream.
